Hello! I'm Sophia 🌹

Hi! 👋 I'm Sophia, and I have the most rewarding job in the world - teaching 3rd graders here in Chicago! Every day I get to see the wonder in children's eyes when they learn something new, and it fills my heart with so much joy. But at the end of the school day, when I'm grading papers and planning lessons, I often think about how amazing it would be to share these little victories with someone special.

Teaching has taught me patience, empathy, and the importance of nurturing growth - qualities I'd love to bring to a romantic relationship too. I believe in the power of encouragement, whether it's helping a student read their first book or supporting a partner through life's challenges.

When I'm not in the classroom: You'll find me exploring Chicago's amazing food scene (deep dish pizza is life! 🍕), visiting art museums, reading cozy mysteries, trying new yoga classes, and spending time with my rescue cat, Mr. Whiskers. I also volunteer as a literacy tutor on weekends because education is truly my passion.

My dream weekend: Saturday morning farmers market with fresh coffee and pastries, an afternoon exploring Lincoln Park Zoo or the Art Institute, followed by a cozy dinner at a local restaurant where we can talk for hours about our dreams, goals, and all the silly things that make us laugh.
